
Vice President of Reservoir Engineering
Keith Selinger is Vice President of Reservoir Engineering for GSM. His responsibilities include oil and gas property evaluation, reserve determinations, expert witness in civil lawsuits and before state oil and gas commissions, among other work assignments. Mr. Selinger received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Tulsa, a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming. He has 50 years of practical reservoir engineering experience both offshore Gulf Coast and onshore continental United States and international experience in Russia, India, Pakistan, and the North Sea.
Mr. Selinger is involved in compiling, studying, analyzing, and interpreting data to make recommendations concerning workover, remedial work, and production practices. He has conducted engineering and geological studies of wells and reservoirs and made recommendations relative to drilling prospects, workovers, and evaluated abnormal pressure environments found in the Gulf of Mexico area both onshore and offshore. He has also prepared full oil and gas property appraisals with projections of reserves, cash flows, and fair market values for banks, potential purchasers, and sellers of oil and gas properties. He has conducted in house reservoir engineering classes for office and field personnel and taught numerous economic evaluation schools.
